Settle in at Candleberry Inn Before Scoping out Downtown Brewster

After settling into your room, make your way down to our wandering English garden to enjoy a glass of wine and take in our quiet surroundings. Our historic inn is located right in the heart of Cape Cod and near all of the amazing thing to do in Brewster! So, once you’re relaxed and ready to start your getaway, go for a stroll on Main Street. Scope out some of the historical buildings, art galleries, and boutiques, before enjoying a meal at one of the area’s many fantastic Brewster restaurants.

Spend the Day at the Beach

The best way to catch the last bits of summer is to take a day trip to the beach with your family and friends! Soak in some sun while the weather is still warm and pleasant. We recommend Robbin’s Hill Beach, Paine’s Creek, Point of Rocks Beach, or Saints Landing Beach.  Each of our area’s beaches is uniquely different, so no matter which beach you choose, you’re sure to have a great time!

Check out the Local Food or Art Festivals

Cape Cod has amazing local food! You can try some locally grown produce and other treats at the Truro Agricultural Fair. It lasts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1, in Truro, MA. This event is a great way to learn about local foods and the history of Cape Cod!

The best souvenirs are the ones made by locals. Find some treasures at the Labor Day Festival of the Arts! It takes place in Drummer Boy Park, right here in Brewster. The festival lasts all Labor Day weekend! You can find anything from home decor to folk art to high-end jewelry. You never know what you may find!
