Skip the stress this year when you spend Christmas on Cape Cod. That doesn’t mean you have to miss out on time with family, either!     Brewster for the Holidays is the Best Way to Have an Unforgettable Christmas on Cape Cod 

    What is Brewster for the Holidays?

    Locals and visitors alike flock to the beating heart of Cape Cod each year to celebrate Brewster for the Holidays! If you’ve never been before, you’re probably wondering what it is. Aside from being our favorite holiday festival, let’s dive into what you can expect during this 3-day celebration. 

    For more than a decade, this holiday-themed festival has brought locals and visitors alike to Brewster to celebrate Christmas on Cape Cod. While the festival boasts more than 80 events throughout the weekend, a few favorites have stolen the show year after year. The Chamber of Commerce and other local businesses sponsor these events, so many are free and open to the public! 

    Winter Events at Brewster for the Holidays 

    This year, Brewster for the Holidays will take place from Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, to Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019. Each day, enjoy the Holiday Gallery Stroll. This Brewster for the Holidays staple features a self-guided tour of some of the finest art that Brewster’s local artisans have to offer. 

    Friday’s iconic event is the Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree. This event at Drummer Boy Park on Route 6A in Brewster features a beautiful windmill and tree lighting ceremony. Enjoy sweet treats as you watch Brewster illuminate! Give back to the community during this event when you donate a toy to the Brewster PTO. After all, the holiday season is about giving back. 

    Saturday and Sunday both feature longstanding Brewster for the Holidays events that feature the star of Christmas — Santa Claus! Enjoy breakfast with Santa on Saturday or visit Santa’s Workshop & Holiday Party on Sunday. The latter is sponsored by and hosted at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History.
