    The Cook Shop

    Open all year, The Cook Shop is a family-owned gourmet cookware and tabletop store with everything that you could need for your kitchen. The shop has been curating and selling top-of-the-line bakeware, cookware, glassware, and other kitchen cutlery and gadgets since 1978.

    The Brewster Store

    Since 1866, The Brewster Store has been situated in the heart of the town, serving the community out of an 1852 two-story church building — that’s more than 150 years! Renovations have been completed over the years, but the sense of nostalgia that you get as you shop is still very much intact.

    Both floors of the store are stuffed with unique merchandise. Among the food and candy are saltwater taffy, penny candy, cranberry bog frogs, fudge, jellies and jams, and more. In the toys and games section, you can look through dolls and doll clothes, nostalgic board games, diecast military models and kits, marbles, and much more.

    Among the clothing, you’ll find store-themed and Cape Cod-themed hats, shirts, and sweaters, as well as other accessories. On top of that, the store sells books of all kinds, oil lamps and parts, and store-themed merchandise other than clothes.

    As you sift through everything, a Nickelodeon player-piano will fill the air with music. And if you want a treat while you’re here, grab a fresh coffee and a doughnut or other pastry to enjoy while relaxing on one of the store benches.

    Wisteria Antiques

    If you love antiques, then you’ll feel like you’re in paradise when you step into Wisteria Antiques. This mesmerizing shop is located in a sterling lavender Victorian mansion that used to be home to a sea captain.

    On the shelves, you’ll see crystal, costume jewelry, fluted stemware, Limoges porcelain, paperweights, perfume bottles, sparkling chandeliers, and more. Plus, it has an extensive collection of fine, hand-painted porcelain — the best in the nation — and vintage Venetian glass.

    Great Cape Herbs

    Do you love balms, medicinal herbs, oils, teas, and tinctures? The best place to stock up on these products is Great Cape Herbs. Opened in 1967 as The College Yard Service, this shop has evolved over the years and is the oldest herbal apothecary on Cape Cod. Self-taught village herbalist Stephan Brown owns the shop and organic farm.

    Brewster Book Store

    For your next big read, browse the collection of Cape Cod books at the Brewster Book Store. This independent bookstore has been serving the community for more than four decades. Among the hardcover and paperback books, the shop has an extensive children’s section.

    The shelves at the Brewster Book Store are filled with more than books, though. They also display greeting cards, games, toys, and one-of-a-kind gifts. On top of that, the bookshop hosts book clubs, author signings, storytimes, and other events throughout the year.

    HandCraft House

    Supporting the American Craft community and representing more than 200 artists, HandCraft House has been offering a distinctive selection of high-quality American, handcrafted products since 1986.

    Its collection of functional and decorative crafts includes office items, home decor, lighting, and even apparel.
