Sometimes, the best way to get a taste of an area is to taste the wine! Cape Cod Winery is located in East Falmouth, a little less than an hour away from Candleberry Inn. You’ll love their fruity wines, each flavored with the Cape in mind. Choose to sample 5 or 8 wines, then enjoy your favorite while you relax on their patio! We recommend getting a bottle or two of your favorites so you can pop one open during your stay at Candleberry Inn or back home to remember your trip by.

4. Edward Gorey House Edward Gorey House

You have never seen anything like the Edward Gorey House! The dark works of the late Edward Gorey have captivated audiences for years, one of his most famous being The Gashlycrumb Tinies. Now, you can walk through his 200-year-old sea captain’s home that has been preserved in honor of him. What’s so unique about it? He had filled its walls with original artwork from 1979 until his death in 2000! It’s the perfect rainy day activity.
