Taste Local Beers at These 3 Cape Cod Breweries 

Cape Cod Beer | Hyannis, MA

Cape Cod Beer has been crafting award-winning brews since 2004. The brewmasters here ferment pale ales, IPAs, and more. Cape Cod Beer’s most popular brew is Cape Cod Harvest. This German-style ale is made with six different malts. Its unique malt-meets-hops flavor has earned it Gold standing numerous times at the Great International Beer Festival. 

You can try any of their in-season brews when you visit this Cape Cod brewery. The brewery offers guided tours every day at 11 a.m. except Sundays. Don’t worry if you miss the guided tour, though. You can take a self-guided tour and tasting during retail hours. Tastings are only $6 for five 3 ounce samples. Oh, and don’t forget your souvenir glass!

Barnstable Brewing | Barnstable, MA

At Barnstable Brewing, you’ll never have the same experience twice. Every visit is sure to be exceptional as you treat your taste buds to something different. This Cape Cod brewery features a series of revolving brews in their tasting room. Some are seasonal favorites, like the Coffee Vanilla Milkshake IPA, while others are brand new blends. 

All are equally delicious. This is no surprise, though. Barnstable Brewing’s Director of Brewing Operations, Mark Connor, attained his brewmaster certification from Doemens Academy in Munich, Germany. The team’s technical knowledge paired with their passion for delicious brews come together to create some of Cape Cod’s best craft beer. 

Provincetown Brewing Co. | Provincetown, MA

Provincetown Brewing Co., locally known as PBC, is new to the Cape Cod brewery scene. They’re making innovate leaps and bounds in this industry, too. For the folks at PBC, providing unique, delicious brews is just the first step to a successful business that they can be proud of. Located in the most gay-friendly destination on the Cape, this brewery is dedicated to spreading the inclusive nature of this area with its product. 

Every single one of their craft beers is dedicated to a cause. These ethos ranges from LGBTQ+ rights to local organizations that support the arts. PBC calls this #Draftivism. Enjoy a cold beer while aiding the community. There’s nothing better.
