Benefits of Booking a B&B vs. a Hotel on Cape Cod
There are several great reasons to stay at a B&B vs. a hotel at any time. However, the benefits that B&Bs offer matter now more than ever. Small lodging companies like B&Bs have fewer guests staying at any given time and on-site owners who make sure the property is always clean and sanitized. Here’s how we’re protecting our guests during this time!
Candleberry Inn has nine guest rooms. Most of these rooms accommodate up to two people, so that means the Inn usually has 20 guests or less at any given time. All rooms also have private bathrooms. This makes it easy to practice safe social distancing! We’ve also employed a 24-hour block between stays on all guest rooms whenever possible, to ensure safe time distancing between stays as well as daily housekeeping service.
As innkeepers, we spend most of our time on the property. We love to be the ones at the front desk welcoming visitors, chatting with guests in the common area, cooking breakfast, and baking snacks. Now, we’re spending even more time on-site to ensure all enhanced sanitation procedures are followed and even doing some of the work ourselves.
One benefit of staying at a B&B that you won’t find at a large hotel chain is personalized, boutique-style service. Our friendly staff is happy to help you select the guest room that meets your needs, cater to your dietary restrictions at breakfast, and give you the inside scoop on what to do in town! We’re not just a place to leave your luggage. We want your stay to be one you won’t forget, which is why we have open, honest communication with our guests from the time you book to check-out.
Have questions? Contact us via email or phone. We can’t wait to hear from you!
We want our Inn to feel like home during your stay. That’s why we stock our guest rooms with a variety of premier amenities like 600-thread count sheets, reusable glass water bottles, Malin+Goetz natural cosmetics, high-speed WIFI, free printing for your boarding passes and travel essentials, and more! We also provide complimentary beach day necessities like towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and ice. You simply won’t find such easy access to high-end amenities at a chain hotel.
Complimentary (Not Continental) Breakfast
“Breakfast” is included with most hotel stays. We put it in quotes because, well… a pre-packaged pastry isn’t exactly what comes to mind when we think of the best meal to start your day. Join us each morning of your stay between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. for a complimentary, multicourse breakfast. Breakfast is made in-house by our innkeeper, Angelo, who uses local, fresh, in-season ingredients to create wholesome, delicious meals. A few guest favorites include apple pancakes and three-ingredient egg soufflés. We’re also happy to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions with advance notice!
