In East Falmouth, Home Again is a cooperative of local artisans and collectors. Treasure hunters and antique lovers are bound to find something unique to take home or give as a gift — distinct lamps, pillows, wall hangings, and more.

    Sandwich Antiques Center

As the home of the Sandwich Glass Museum, the Town of Sandwich is no stranger to collectibles and one-of-a-kind items. It’s also home to the Sandwich Antiques Center, which has been operating for more than 20 years.

This antique center is one of the largest antique venues in the area. However, it displays more than what you might refer to as traditional antiques. There’s everything from home accessories and jewelry to fine art and furniture.

    Historical Antiques & Coins

Another spot in Sandwich, Historical Antiques & Coins is always looking for fascinating finds to replenish its inventory. And, boy, does it have a huge selection of antiques — coins, military relics, gold and silver items, jewelry, collectibles, advertising items, and more!

Shopping here is such a delight that you’ll want to return to see the new pieces that are on display.

Best Mid Cape Cod Antique Stores

    Atomic Dimestore

If you’re looking for anything remotely cool, head to the Atomic Dimestore in Hyannis. This shop specializes in collectibles from the 1940s to 1980s, with a focus on clothes, glassware, pop culture, and other fun stuff from between the 1950s and 1970s.

Some other items that you’ll find include comics, monster magazines, like-new and sealed toys, lunchboxes, kitchenware, and small furnishings. Very little of the store’s inventory consists of reproductions.

The Atomic Dimestore doesn’t always open or close according to its posted hours. We recommend calling ahead before you visit to make sure it’s open — (508) 360-7217.

    Plush & Plunder

For fine vintage clothing, check out Plush & Plunder in Hyannis. A self-proclaimed “Paradise to Explore,” we have to agree. This shop is full of decades-old hats, fur coats, jewelry, dresses and gowns, suits and tuxedos, and accessories. You’ll also find lamps, ceramics, glass, records, photos, and more.

    Antiques Center of Yarmouth

You can shop map cases and tables, antique atlases and postcards, and geographical and historical books as well.

    Monomoy Salvage Antiques & Gifts

Perhaps one of the most friendly places to buy Cape Cod antiques is at Monomoy Salvage Antiques & Gifts in Chatham. You have owner Carol Sherman to thank for that because she loves helping her customers find what they’re interested in.

From classic collectors’ items to rare finds, The MEWS at Brewster Antiques is unlike the other Brewster antique shops. It’s a cooperative of dealers, each of which has its own specialty. As a result, the selection is quite impressive. What they all have in common, though, is a Cape Cod feeling.

The MEWS is open Monday through Friday from May to mid-June. Outside of that, we recommend calling to make sure it’s open before going — (508) 896-4887.

    Nauset Vintage

What started as Cape Cod Modern on Etsy has become a physical location in Orleans. Nauset Vintage has clothing, furniture, home decor, and vinyl records, many of which you can see in the Etsy store. If you decide to shop online, you can get curbside pickup. Cape Cod Antique Dealers Association

OK, we know this isn’t an antique store, but we couldn’t ignore the CCADA’s Antique Shows. The organization hosts two main events on Cape Cod — one in early July and another in early August. Some antique dealers only sell at these shows, so it’s the only time to peruse their items.

Typically, the events host more than 30 quality dealers from across Cape Cod. You’ll find a wide variety of antiques from the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries — from decorative items and books to glassware and furniture.

    Curiouser & Curiouser

Although Curiouser & Curiouser in Wellfleet isn’t specifically an antique store, it has a selection of ethically sourced and environmentally sustainable antique and vintage home goods. Also, you can check out its mix of organic items, handcrafted accessories, organic skin care, and much more.

    Jules Besch Stationers

Jules Besch Stationers in Truro is another shop that sells more than antiques. In fact, it specializes in fine stationery and is one of the best in New England. Although the collection of antiques is limited to writing instruments, it’s certainly worth visiting if that interests you.
